On Wednesday evening, May 25, guests arrived at William Christopher Design to view the latest trends in home décor and fashion at an event held to raise awareness and funds for a local charity organization. The event showcased incredible design, custom furniture, and a unique collection of jewelry and clothing, with a portion of the evenings sales benefiting Child and Family Guidance Center, a nonprofit agency, dedicated to providing high quality mental health services to the Dallas community.
Displayed was the innovative and eclectic style of William Christopher Design, a studio commandeered by Ty Burks and Christopher Riolfi. The studio combines antique and vintage design with a cutting edge, refined flair and boasts works of art, custom furniture, lighting and gifts. Dallas Darling was also on hand to showcase a chic trunk show collection of jewelry, kaftans, tunics, handbags, hats and more. The 6th grade class at The Parish Episcopal School held a Book Drive for Child & Family Guidance Center and donated over 4,000 books!
"Literacy" was the 6th grade's community service focus. On Monday, May 2nd, the competition began. The seven Advisory classes raced to see who could get the highest stack of books. The books came flooding in! The kids got excited at the thought of filling up the previously empty bookshelves at all 4 clinics. There were so many books donated that the individuals served at Child & Family Guidance Center are able to pick out and take home a book for themselves.
Thanks to the generous donation of books from the 6th graders at The Parish Episcopal School!
